A BIT ABOUT ME
My Name is Rissy Batista. I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and migrated to the USA at age 11. I attended and graduated Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2006. I am an avid reader, and outdoors lover. I am a mother of four amazing souls.
As a psychotherapist with 19 years of experience working with individuals, youth, couples, and families in the state of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, I recognize the value and importance of a strong, compassionate and safe therapeutic relationship. Healing happens when we can feel safe to be authentic and open.
I created Now Me Counseling Services with the goal of providing a space of healing where clients can have access to multiple healing experiences such as psychotherapy, plant medicine, meditation and spiritual awakening. I am committed to inspiring growth and connection to ourselves and the planet as we journey through this human experience.
Our Services
There are three main services we provide at Now Me Counseling Services all of which provide ultimate transformation, perspective and healing for our clients. Through our services our goal is to create a safe space for our clients that helps guide and aid them through their individual life journeys
Psychotherapy
Now Me Counseling services provides Individual Counseling, Group Counseling, Couples, Family Therapy and Children & adolescent Counseling. With over 19 years of experience in crisis intervention, trauma, family dynamics, suicide prevention, depression, anxiety and gender issues, among many others. We value each client's uniqueness and focus on identifying, nurturing and maintaining those qualities. We strive to create a strong therapeutic relationship on an individual basis.
Holistic Healing
Holistic healing is an approach in which treatment focuses on you as a whole being, mind, body and spirit. At Now Me Counseling we offer holistic tools, such as cacao ceremonies, in group and individual sessions. We also offer KAP treatment and psychedelic integration therapy and group retreats.
Our goal is to create a safe container in which you can explore and heal without judgement, with freedom and autonomy, so that your shift can be long lasting and sustainable.
Workplace Learning
Now Me Counseling Services offers workplace learning designed to enhance employee performance. Our targeted training program can address employee stress and anxiety, burnout prevention and team building. Our trainings are designed to promote employee growth and development.
